Dr. Stephanie Vertrees
Medical Director & Headache Specialist
Specialized in treating complex and difficult-to-treat headache disorders
Dr. Vertrees is a board-certified specialist in headache medicine with extensive experience treating complex headache disorders. With a patient-centered approach and dedication to the latest advances in headache treatment, Dr. Vertrees has helped countless patients find relief from chronic headache conditions.
After completing medical training, Dr. Vertrees has focused exclusively on headache medicine, developing expertise in treating migraines, cluster headaches, tension headaches, and other specialized headache disorders.
As a migraine sufferer herself, Dr. Vertrees understands firsthand the impact that headaches can have on daily life and is passionate about helping patients reclaim their quality of life.
Andi Faldyn
Physician Assistant & Headache Specialist
Andi is a dedicated Physician Associate specializing in headache medicine in the Austin area since 2016. Drawing from her own experience as a headache sufferer, she is deeply committed to helping patients find relief and improve their lives. Andi's training encompasses a range of therapeutic options, including Botox for chronic migraine and cervical dystonia, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections. Her cross-training in cosmetic Botox allows her to provide therapeutic treatments with careful consideration for aesthetics. She is an active member of prominent professional societies, including the International Headache Society and the American Headache Society. Andi's philosophy centers on empowering patients with knowledge and providing the necessary support to manage their headaches effectively.
A native of Georgetown, Texas, Andi holds a Bachelor's from Texas A&M University and a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University. She has focused on headache medicine since 2016. Andi lives in Georgetown with her husband and four children. Her personal interests include exploring new experiences, spending time with her family outdoors, and learning beekeeping.
Lauren Bennett
Registered Nurse & Headache Specialist
Lauren has been working with Dr. Vertrees since before the practice opened. She is a registered nurse with a passion for helping patients find relief from their headaches.
She is dedicated to providing a warm, welcoming environment for our patients and their families.
Ciciley Cameron
Administrative Assistant
Ciciley is the friendly face behind the scenes at Vertrees Headache Center. She ensures that our patients receive the best possible care and support from the moment they walk through our doors.
Ciciley is also the force behind our prior authorization process and is always available to help with any questions or concerns.
Theo
Therapy Dog & Chief Happiness Officer
Theo is Vertrees Headache Center's therapy dog who is dedicated to providing comfort and support to our patients.
He is known for his gentle approach and ability to make patients feel at ease. Many of our patients enjoy having Theo by their side during their visit. Patients may specifically request him when making appointments.
